Pennington - Red River Co., TX Land Grants Empty Red River Co., TX Land Grants

Elias Pennington had a land grant in Red River County, TX (Grant #698, 640 acres 1/8/1840). Does Anyone know who was the Jemima Pennington who had land grant #779 also for 640 acres just four days later on 1/12/1840? This may be an important connection to Elias of group 22 or she may be connected to Isaac Pennington who had a grant in the same county (#425, 1/3 league of land; emigrated 3/25/1835).

Pennington - Red River Co., TX Land Grants Empty Jamiah Pennington Kearley

Jamiah, sometimes listed as Jemima and Jemina, turned out to be the mother of Elias and two previously unknown sisters. Look for the article titled "Jamiah Pennington Kearley" in the spring 2013 (PP45-1) issue of the Pennington Pedigrees.
